Today I’m a little later with my post as usual. I had my last exam (ever) today and that asked for a little celebration. By the time I came home I had to leave immediately to my physiotherapist because I’m struggling with my knee from all the running I do. Anyway, I went for a classic nail art design with some rhinestones. It’s in soft colors so it’s perfect for a day at work or other activities that ask for some neutral nails!
I started with ‘Go into the light’ from OPI. It’s a very light grey color and I combined this with ‘Kitty white’ from OPI. First step after base coat was to add a layer of Go into the light on every finger. Then I polished a layer of Kitty white on my pink and my index finger. On the other nails I applied a second layer of Go into the light. But I first did the second layer on my ring finger and immediately added two rhinestones on this nail. Then I did the same for my middle finger and my thumb just got a second layer of polish but no rhinestones. The rhinestones kind of stick on the polish because they dry ‘in’ the polish, but I still applied a top coat to make sure they were attached real good. It’s important to let this dry real good otherwise the rhinestones will move or fall off.
It’s a nice result, a real classic nail art design. So easy but it really looks good!
