Time to grab those happy colors! I’m no longer waiting for the sun to come out to use my bright polishes and I’m just going for yellow this week! I’m also posting this a little later as I planned. It’s because my own schedule has changed and from now on I think my nail art posts will come online on Fridays instead of on Wednesdays. I’m planning on changing some other things, but I’ll keep you posted on that! ;-)
Just go for yellow were my thoughts. Pastels are still hot and I’m just going for it! First I started by applying a layer of Blanc from Essie. It’s a new polish I’ve recently bought and I must say I’m very happy with it. Mostly when I polish my nails with white polish it leaves some kind of grey strokes in my polish, but not this time, yay! Super nice because I really like white polish. So after I polished my nails in white I applied a layer of loop the loop from Ciaté on my pink, index finger and thumb. I had already used this polish once before but without first applying a white polish. The result is much better when you first apply a white polish. When this was dry I applied the tape on my ring finger and middle finger from top to bottom. Then I applied some tape diagonally to this line in the middle in a ‘V’ shape or like somewhat like an arrow. Then I applied another layer of loop the loop and I removed the tape, applied a top coat and it was ready.
This nail art was quick and easy only applying the tape was somewhat tricky because you want the lines to look the same and going in the same direction. You better don’t use a red tape like I did because it left some red stains on my nail art desing, really sucks :-( Might try this one with other colors too!
