After the green autumn color of last week it’s time to go a little darker. All the way in space blue I show you my new design. Just like marble you spot this space trend everywhere. The dark colors are so perfect for my not so secret love for dark nail polishes. And best of all, this design is really easy because you don’t have to do it precisely! :)
I started by applying two layers of cosmo with a twist from OPI. This nail polish is totally space, not only the name but the dark blue glitter color as well. But is not yet the perfect night sky so I took a sponge to make it even better. You can use a normal sponge that you use for the dishes or you can use a makeup sponge, it doesn’t really matter. I used a lighter purple than the first polish and did it on the sponge. This purple is I carol about you from OPI. Than I stamped the sponge on the bottom and on the top of my nails. It’s stamped on different corners of my nails so they’re diagonally across each other. You don’t have to be precisely when applying the lighter purple with the sponge. When you have nail polish on your fingers too, you can clean it up afterwards. After the purple I applied some white alpine snow from OPI on the sponge and stamped it in the purple areas. I was a little more careful with the white polish, because I didn’t want it to become too bright. I finished by applying a beautiful glitter polish snow globetrotter from OPI.
It really doesn’t matter how big or small the ‘clouds’ you apply with the sponge are. They can be different sizes and color tone. The glitter polish takes care of the stars in your night sky. You’ll see how easy it is to make this pretty nail art!
